Created by Fondation Émergence in 2003, the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, is celebrated on May 17 in multiple countries. Each year, it mobilizes thousands of people through impactful campaigns and initiatives that denounce discrimination and promote inclusion.

Municipalités alliées : pourquoi (et comment) s’engager concrètement le 17 mai
À l’occasion du 17 mai, les municipalités peuvent soutenir les personnes LGBTQ+ en posant deux gestes simples : hisser le drapeau de la diversité et/ou adopter une résolution officielle. Le premier est visible et mobilisateur, le second est un engagement politique durable. Idéalement combinées, ces actions renforcent l’inclusion et envoient un message clair contre l’homophobie et la transphobie. Chaque geste compte pour créer des milieux de vie plus inclusifs.
