International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia
Created by Fondation Émergence in 2003, the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, is celebrated on May 17 in multiple countries. Each year, it mobilizes thousands of people through impactful campaigns and initiatives that denounce discrimination and promote inclusion.
Gala Émergence
The Gala Émergence is more than just a recognition event. Held annually, it brings together key figures from the community, political, artistic, and business sectors—all united by a shared commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and the rights of LGBTQ+ people.

La Fondation lève le rideau sur son 25e anniversaire avec son Gala Émergence !
La Fondation Émergence célèbre ses 25 ans avec le Gala Émergence, le 17 octobre au Théâtre St-James. Une soirée immersive sous le thème « De l’ombre à la lumière ». Une mise en scène immersive, des moments forts, des performances, du réseautage, un photobooth interactif, un encan virtuel… et bien plus encore.
17 mai 2025 : plus de 165 municipalités québécoises se mobilisent contre l’homophobie et la transphobie
Le 17 mai 2025, 165 municipalités québécoises, des villes aux villages, ont posé des gestes symboliques pour soutenir les diversités : déclarations, drapeaux, messages ou activités. Plus de 70 ont hissé l’arc-en-ciel. Amqui, Montmagny, Rivière-du-Loup et Sainte-Charles-Borromée se démarquent. Chaleureux merci!
