Realities of LGBTQ+ seniors
Fondation Émergence offers support to better understand the realities of LGBTQ+ seniors, and help adopt a range of best practices to contribute to their well-being.

Caregiver support
In Quebec, it’s estimated that more than 1 in 3 adults is a caregiver, which means that this reality concerns almost everyone at some point in their lives. Fondation Émergence offers support to better understand the realities of LGBTQ+ people in informal caregiving situations.

Combating conversion therapies
Since 2022, conversion therapy has been recognized as a criminal offence in Canada, and Fondation Émergence is involved in efforts to raise awareness of this crime, and the serious consequences it causes.

Grand public
For Fondation Émergence, a key objective remains: to educate, inform, and raise awareness about the realities of individuals who identify with sexual diversity, and plurality of gender identities and expressions.
